I am an integrated M.S./Ph.D. student at the Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence at POSTECH, advised by Prof. Suha Kwak in the Computer Vision Lab.

My research centers on teaching machines to understand videos across time — building models that not only recognize what happens, but precisely reason about when and why it happens. Toward this goal, I have worked on:

  • Temporal localization and reasoning — from online temporal action localization (ECCV 2024) to reasoning temporal localization with video LLMs (EventCoT, arXiv 2026), where event-centric representations let the model ground its answers in time using far fewer visual tokens.
  • Video understanding in the wild — group activity detection (ECCV 2024) and audio-visual learning (CVPR 2025).

Currently, I am working toward AI life assistants that understand long-form egocentric videos of daily life — a setting that demands memory, temporal reasoning, and awareness of who experienced what. Beyond videos, I also explore LLM agents that reason over knowledge graphs for multi-hop question answering (currently under review).

If any of this resonates with you, feel free to reach out!
